Early Intervention Programme:

Weekly radio broadcasts on parenting on CBC 100.7 FM and VOB 92.7 FM.

  • Weekly newspaper articles in the Nation newspaper entitled "Parentwise”.
  • Weekly parenting segment on the Chat Room Programme on CBC television.
  •  A number of innovative programmes to reach the "hard to reach parents".  Approximately 1,000 "hard to reach” families have benefited from these programmes (annually).
  • Parent Outreach Programme in 9 polyclinics throughout Barbados.
  • Community initiated lecture/discussions.
  • Anger Management and Character Building Programme in the Primary and Secondary Schools in Barbados.
  • Parent Effectiveness Training Courses.
  • Annual National Parenting Conferences.

 

Crisis Intervention Programme:

Counselling, parent education, health and family life education impact the lives of more than 80,000 parents and children, particular attention is given to sensitising men to take the responsibility of parenting more seriously.

  • Parenting Group sessions at its headquarters every Tuesday and Thursday.

 

Early Childhood Care and Development:

Day Care Centre for children ages 3 months – 4 ½ years.
